Grade 8 students of Mount Carmel CMI School undertook an engaging project on Agriculture and Nutrition. The project focused on two main areas: preparation of animal products and dressing of poultry carcass. Students explored the basics of livestock care and the importance of hygiene in animal product handling. They learned how to safely and ethically prepare poultry for consumption. Practical sessions included cleaning, plucking, and dressing poultry carcasses. Emphasis was placed on food safety, nutritional value, and sustainable farming practices. The project aimed to develop hands-on skills and awareness of healthy eating. Students also discussed the role of animal products in a balanced diet. This activity enhanced their understanding of food sources and agricultural practices. It was both educational and skill-enriching for the learners.
